Why Micro trips?
A lot of people I meet ask me why do I take a micro trip when I can stay at a place longer. My answer to that, I don’t like wasting money paying for extra nights at hotels and it doesn’t require me to take day’s off from work. I plan my trip and research about the place in advance so that I don’t miss out the places of my interests.
Micro trips are advantageous to those who don’t get much time or vacation days. It is the perfect way of unwinding yourself and getting back to work with a much better weekend story and it helps in dealing with the Monday blues.
Where to and how?
Trips don’t need to be expensive and long. It has to fulfill your purpose of travel. Sleeping on a flight or a bus is cheaper than hotels. Whatever your destination may be, research on the places you want to go, and the things you want to do. Look for cheap, late-night or overnight modes of your commune.
